CPL Training Enrollment Requirements:

    Educational Qualification:
  • Minimum Educational Requirement: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board. If you do not have Physics and Maths in 10+2, the best option would be NIOS.
  • Age Requirement: Minimum age of 17 years for enrollment and 18 years for CPL issuance.
  • Language Proficiency: Candidate should be able to read, write, and understand English.

Medicals Requirements

It is a mandatory requirement from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) that candidates must be fit to fly. The medical requirements are divided into two categories: Class II and Class I. The following are the steps to obtain Class II and Class I medical:


    Class II Medical Examination:
  • Visit the DGCA website to find approved examiners/doctors for Class II medical examination. After an appointment, get necessary tests done and receive a CA 35 form. Once all medical documents reach DGCA, they’ll issue a certificate from the medical needed for Class I medical examination.

  • Class I Medical Examination:
  • For Class I Initial Medical Examination, submit an application form at DGCA after Class II. Take an appointment and get necessary tests done. Verify laboratory test reports, and you’ll receive the Class I medical certificate. For Class I Renewal Medical Examination, renewals are mandatory as Class I assessments are valid for a year. Apply one month before expiry with the original certificate, NOC, and required documents.

Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Program

The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) enables you to operate aircraft for remuneration purposes on behalf of an airline. The CPL training comprises two distinct phases: ground training and flight training. We will provide comprehensive guidance on each phase in detail.

  • Training Subjects: Air Navigation, Air Meteorology, Air Regulations, Technical General, Technical Specific, & RTR – Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical).
  • Training Duration: 4-6 months
    During the course, you’ll learn about these fascinating subjects and discover everything you need to know about aerodynamics, flight planning, weather, and aircraft structure. Commercial Pilot License in India

  • "Flight Training Course"
  • Select a reputable flight school offering diverse flight conditions, including controlled/uncontrolled airspace, various weather conditions, international airport landings, published and non-published routes. Flight training can be done abroad or in India, totaling 200-250 hours in a DGCA-recognised trainee aircraft. Undergo a specified training module, pass stage checks to demonstrate flight knowledge to the examiner, and complete ground and flight training. Then, take a flying skills test with an approved examiner. Finally, submit all documents on the EGCA portal to receive your Commercial Pilot License.
